Premier Grade Cricket Publicity Round 3 v Randwick – Petersham 17 October 2020 The Bankstown Sports Club Bulldogs are locked in a titanic struggle with Randwick-Petersham at Bankstown Memorial Oval. The visitors won the toss and batted first but struggled from the outset with Liam Marshall and Matt Bursa claiming the early wickets. Bankstown v Sutherland. Round 2 2020-21 The Bankstown Sports Bulldogs narrowly defeated the Sharks in a thriller at the picturesque Memorial Oval last Saturday. Bankstown eventually wound up the Sutherland innings for 294 with ex Bulldog Tushaar Garg providing stubborn resistance with 33 not out. Express paceman Liam Marshall snaring the last wicket to set off the Bulldogs run chase. Opener Nick Carruthers is renowned for his explosive batting but his 112 was a classic and a very, very polished performance. PREMIER GRADE CRICKET ROUND 2 2020-21 v Sutherland First Grade On a glorious spring day, the Bankstown Sports Bulldogs were involved in a titanic struggle at Memorial Oval last Saturday versus the Sutherland Sharks. The visitors had first use of the beautiful Bankstown batting strip and made the most of it early in the day. Nathan McAndrew unleashed some aggressive bouncers peppering the Sharks openers. He eventually trapped Arnold LBW on his crease with a superb delivery which would have toppled the timbers.
