After winning the toss Bulldogs skipper Daniel Solway elected to bat but the visitors were unable to take full advantage of the conditions slumping to 3/52 with Solway (11), Nick Carruthers (7) and Jake Fawcett (7) back in the sheds. Premier Grade Cricket Publicity Report Round Two Week 2 12-13th October 2019 Season 2019/20 In a rain affected match the Bankstown Sports Bulldogs put a tough fight but fell just short losing on the first innings to St George at Memorial Oval on Saturday. Rain again delayed play slightly with the Dogs’ resuming at 7/77 and apart from some stoic resistance from Ben Le Bas (13no) the tail succumbed without much fanfare. Premier Grade Cricket Publicity Report Round Two Season 2019/20 5th October 2019 The Bankstown Sports Bulldogs could not handle the fiery Dragons at Memorial last Saturday and slumped to 7-77. The Trent Copeland inspired St George caused chaos amongst the Bankstown batting as the home side collapsed to be 5-19. Test quick Copeland proved the Bulldogs nemesis and captured the first four wickets to fall as the top order capitulated clean bowling two of his victims with stunning pace and the locals never recovered from a precarious 4-19.
