Premier Grade Cricket: Qualifying Finals 2019 The great news for the Bankstown Sports Cub sponsored Bankstown Bulldogs is that their Second and Third grade sides are into the semi-final next weekend. In amongst the euphoria of this news is the sobering thought that both teams will take on the very strong Sydney University sides! It is a minor miracle that Seconds have progressed as they played very poorly on Saturday against the Sydney Tigers. Bears maul the Dogs but 2s and 3s in finals

Premier Grade Cricket – Round 15, 9th March 2019 The Bankstown Sports Bulldogs 1st Grade team bowed out of Premiership contention after a disappointing loss to North Sydney last Saturday left the side two competition points outside the top six. However, on the bright side, Tony Clark's Second Grade and Iain Ridley's Third Grade will play in the Qualifying Finals next weekend. Both finished fourth, and so Seconds will play Sydney while Thirds take on Manly in do-or-die elimination games. In First grade the Bears crushed the Bulldogs at North Sydney. R14 v Mosman

Premier Grade Cricket Round 14 2nd March 2019 First Grade Bankstown batted first at Allan Border last Saturday and thanks to a 100 from majestic stroke maker Chris Ridley totalled 248.The Bankstown Sports Bulldogs we’re disadvantaged by a washout the previous weekend which made victory extremely difficult in the one day non-limited overs game. The rampaging Ridley harpooned the Whales with some savage strokeplay which left the home side floundering. He rattled the pickets 10 times and plundered 4 sixes which soared high over the fence.
