A BIG thank-you to David Clifton, Isaac Schipp, Damien Schipp, Brian Freedman, Maurice Loughlin, Geoff Price and Eris Dignam for helping pack the shipping container today.
It will be on the high seas this week, destination Kampala, Uganda (for distribution by the Uganda Cricket Association to cricket clubs, schools, orphanages and other charities ).
All costs associated with transporting the container are met by our wonderful sponsor Bankstown District Sports Club. This project would not be viable without BDSC's amazing support. Huge shout-out to President John Murray and his fellow Directors and CEO Mark Condi for their on-going support.

Our eighth container load of donated gear for Uganda left Bankstown Oval 25th November - thanks to Bankstown Sports Club - who, in case you don’t know, cover all the freight costs for the container each year to arrive at the Uganda Cricket Association. This container is expected to arrive in January 2015.
We greatly appreciate our volunteers who helped pack the 20 foot container... Brian Freedman, Marty Klumpp, Linsey Roworth, Eris Dignam, David Clifton – but special thanks go to Matt Clifton and his mates from uni: Josh Hall, Tim Bennett and Diego Garcia - thanks guys - it made the job so much quicker and easier for us oldies!
